"The nasi lemak (both beef rendang and curry chicken versions) was good! But they don't have chili for the nasi lemak. However, you can ask for sambal belacan which is also quite good. Our table was served by Vijay, and the service is also great!"

"Was wanting to try local local food of Malaysian Pedigree. We enjoyed our dining at Madam Kwan. The service was good. We had problems ordering from the QR code and Vijay was happy to assist get the food delivered to us. We had Samaira hoon Ng, egg Assam, prawns and fried rice with veggies and egg. Vijay was very helpful to us, and I make sure the food is delivered on time. We also tried the local Kopi, and it was really nice. All the food was good. We were not wanting to have food without MSG/ajinimotto and Vijay made sure that is done."

"The standout here is definitely the food but unfortunately not the service, which is why I could not give 5 stars. Although we had a reservation we were quickly taken to a table and then left there with no menus and no indication of when or how we would order. After 5 minutes we flagged down a passing waiter to request some menus, he was not overly friendly, just put them down on a table with a QR code which he pointed to, to order ourselves. The food arrived reasonably quickly and thankfully the flavours did not disappoint. The satay skewers and beef rendang was delicious. Good portion sizes for fried rice too. At the end when paying, I was a little shocked by the extra service fee and extra tax, I thought this would have been built into the prices or sign posted more clearly on the menu of the additional charges, perhaps this is standard practice in KL, as I have only just arrived. When paying at the register, the girl named 'Ivy' could not even manage a smile & did not say thankyou to the customers spending their money at your establishment, it was like we were an inconvenience to her day. However aren't the customers essentially paying your wages? Otherwise if you don't enjoy your job, go work somewhere else."

"I had a longer layover at Kuala Lumpur and wanted to try the Malaysian national dish - Nasi Lemak, but really didn’t know where exactly to try it. Thankfully I found this amazing place and the Nasi Lemak Chicken Curry was sooo sooo delicious! Also I am thankful for the super kind staff Vijay for recommending me to also try the Teh Tarik which was the perfect drink to combine with! Thank you so much for this great experience! I recommend everyone to try this place, if they are unsure where to go!"

"One of the better madam kwan outlets. Ordered the Nasi Lemak beef rendang and the beef was so tender, sambal delicious. Rice is rich in coconut milk taste. Dessert portions larger than expected. This outlet is very crowded with long queues most of the time. Would suggest to make a reservation."

"Had a very satisfying meal at Madam Kwan’s in Suria KLCC. The menu covers several of the Malaysian favourites and is perfect if you want to try local dishes in one place. The highlight was the nasi lemak and curry dishes – fragrant rice, nicely balanced sambal and tender meat, very comforting and flavourful. The restaurant is usually busy and there can be a queue, especially around lunch and dinner, but the turnover is fairly quick. Service can feel a bit rushed at peak times, yet staff remain polite and the food generally comes out reasonably fast once you’ve ordered. Prices are on the higher side compared with hawker centres, but that’s expected given the location inside a premier mall right by the Twin Towers, and the air‑conditioned, comfortable setting. Overall, it’s a solid choice for first‑time visitors or anyone craving dependable Malaysian comfort food in KLCC."

"As tourist we're so tempted to try this famous restaurant. We heard good review about it & each time we passed it's always packed Sooo finally! We ordered: - Nasi Lemak; it's live up to it's fame - not disappointing - Fish Noodle Soup: the real banger, soooo delicious! it's milky white broth was soo rich and flavorful with rice noodle, tofu, fried fish fillet, and veggies. And shoutout to all the staff too; it's so crowd yet they remain polite & helpful since we sit with our 1 year old daughter. As tourists, we had a very memorable experience at this restaurant. "The iconic nyonya peranakan restaurant. We had Nasi Lemak Curry Chicken, Chicken Satay, Curry Laksa , and Char Kway Teow they are so delicious. The laksa is sour and savory. The chicken satay was smoked to perfection. Overall, the food was clean and decent but quite pricey. Service was quick and friendly."
